Lego Night

So the family was all home tonight, and we were trying to decide what to do. We've learned not to plan "Family Nights" ahead of time, because something usually happens to nix those plans.
We just try to take advantage of the opportunities when we see them, and .......
.............. I'm afraid I'll jinx it by saying it out loud but I guess typing doesn't count...........

We've spent the last SEVERAL Friday evenings just hanging out doing stuff together!

Anyway, we've watched movies like, the last three Friday nights in a row, so a change was needed tonight. My suggestion for Karaoke was, as usual, axed by my husband. He just has to be in the right mood for it. He can do a great "Big, Bad John" though.

We settled on something that somebody around here's always playing with, but we never ALL play with at the same time -- LEGO's.

Brother was something of a fanatic when he was younger and we still have several million of his pieces and parts. The girls have inherited his love for them so we spread a sheet out on the floor and dumped a huge tub out..... there's nothing like the sound of cascading LEGOs.

We had so much fun, it might turn into a regular thing.

No, scratch that. It sounds too much like planning.
