Transition Weather

Fall is almost over, but winter's not here yet. One day last week we had some brief snow flurries, and the wind would cut right through you. Today we saw mid-70's temperatures, and a sunny blue sky.
The girls and I walked two miles on a nearby park trail and enjoyed the remaining fall leaves. It took us an hour and 15 minutes..... Peanut likes to pick up leaves that catch her eye, and thinks she needs to rest every time she sees a bench...... and it was downhill pretty much all the way, so I don't think I can count it as an aerobic workout, but it sure felt good to get outside for a while.

70's...that weather is long gone in my town. We have snow. And it's cold. It's pretty, but I miss summer already.

Our leaves have just started changing in the last couple of weeks and they are looking beautiful right now. But now they are starting to fall off the trees. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Interesting what's going on season-wise depending on where you are. Wouldn't it be funny if I were halfway between you two? I'd guess I'm slightly closer to Kathy though.
